Roslyn L Warlik 82, of Rotterdam passed away suddenly at her home on Sunday October 27, 2024. Roslyn was the daughter of the late Anthony and Jean (Di’Ambrosia) Pompilio . She is survived by her two sons Joseph F. Warlik Jr. (Stephanie) and Shawn A Warlik (Tanya) and three grandchildren Paige, Dominick, and Emily.
Roslyn was born and raised in Schenectady. She graduated from the former Mt. Pleasant High School Class of 1960, and Bryant College in Rhode Island where she was a member of the Student Senate and served as the editor for the school paper: The Spotlight. After graduation, Roslyn went on to work in the Department of Transportation for the State Of New York.
Roslyn enjoyed spending time with friends and family and had a strong sense of community service. She was president of the High Bridge Civic Association and was also the editor for their monthly new letter: The High Bridge Highlights. Her sense of community service extended into local politics as well where she was the secretary for the Rotterdam Democratic Party for several years as well as running for Town Board in 2007. She served on several Democratic committees for the Town of Rotterdam as well. She worked for Schenectady County in the department of Senior and Long Term Care as well as serving as the president of the CSEA Retirees Local 940. Roslyn was and incredible person who will missed by all!
Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024 from 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at the DeLegge Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Entombment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
