Rose Cristello Obituary

Rose Cristello, 85 passed away peacefully on December 27, 2018 after a long illness. Born in Mechanicville, NY, to the late Carmen and Mary Luciano. A graduate of Mechanicville High School, she was a Unit Assistant at St. Clare's Hospital for seventeen years and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Rose was a woman of faith who loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and friends.   She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren at their sports functions and high school concerts. A devoted wife for 63 years to her beloved Nicky. Rosie loved spending time taking long walks in area malls, going shopping, and most of all, cooking and baking her magical recipes in the kitchen which include her famous pepper cookies and easter bread. Also Rosie loved to visit the local convenient store to play her favorite numbers and heading to the Saratoga Racetrack with her brother Carmie for a day of betting the ponies. Rosie will be remembered mostly for her heart of gold, kindest soul, the most beautiful smile, and just and overall amazing woman that always put others before herself. We will all miss her so dearly but have peace knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband Nicky, which she couldn't live on without him.

Rose was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas Cristello, loving mother of, Anthony Cristello and daughter-in-law Sheila Cristello, John and his wife Teresa Cristello, grandmother of, Michael and Cara Cristello, Branden (Kristin) Cristello, Aubree and Ahnalee Cristello, great-grandmother of Ava Rose Cristello, sister of, Carmen (Maria) Luciano, and late brothers, Nicholas, and Albert (Wanda) Luciano. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
