Robert Cacchillo Obituary
Robert M. Cacchillo, 79, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the lates Vincenzo and Rose Cacchillo. He graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1960, and received a B.S. Degree from the State University of Oswego and his Masters Degree from the State University of Albany. Bob was a Technology Education Teacher at Guilderland Central Schools from 1966-1998. He was called Mr. C and many of his students went on to become engineers, and he was very proud of that.
He was named New York State Technology Teacher of the Year in 1991. He was a member of Capital District and New York State Technology Associations.
He was predeceased by the love of his life Angeline Renzi Cacchillo, two brothers and two sisters, brother-in-law, Patrick V. Renzi, and mother-in-law Agnes Renzi. He would like to thank the Renzi family especially, Patrick and Agnes for the loved they showed, and for accepting him into the family and always being there when needed.
Bob was survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, February, 11, 2022 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the DeLegge Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Entombment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
