Rita was born in Schenectady to Bernard and Rose Kazyaka. She graduated from Nott Terrance High School and attended Albany Business College and St. Rose College. She was employed by General Electric, the Schenectady School District, and was proprietor of Kazyaka Funeral Home.
Rita was a devoted parishioner of St. Mary’s Church and a choir member for many years. She shared her gifts of hospitality, cooking, friendship and love with her family and countless friends.

Rita enjoyed playing her piano and attended more school concerts and sporting events than you can count.
