Regina LuBrant, 92, of May Ave., passed away peacefully on March 14, 2018, with her loving family by her side. Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Sadie Adach. A graduate of Mont Pleasant High School, she worked for the General Electric Company, and then for the Schenectady County Department of Social Service. She was a member of the Church of St. Adalbert, St. Adalbert Altar Rosary Society, she was involved in the Polka Dance group, and a member of the Rotterdam Seniors. Regina loved to bake and cook polish food. She enjoyed spending time with family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She traveled to Hampton Beach with family for many years. Regina was loved by all and will be missed by many.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Adam F. LuBrant, whom she married on July 30, 1950 at the Church of St. Adalbert, and her brothers, Jerome, and Edmund Adach.
Regina is survived by her son Lenny (Jeanie) LuBrant, daughters, Linda (Jim) Dickson, and Marcia (Larry) Whalen, grandchildren, Emily LuBrant, Eric (Amber) Dickson, Jared (Kelsey), and Ryan Dickson, Brittany, and Kelsey Whalen, great-grandchildren, Adam, Phoebe, Sadie, Leo, and Sebastian, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 9:15 a.m. from the DeLegge Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Adalbert. Interment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 19, from 5-7 p.m. at the DeLegge Funeral Home.
