Phillip A. Conde passed away unexpectedly at home on November 1, 2022.
The son of Salvatore Conde and Vener Grasso, Phil was born in Schenectady on April 1, 1935. After graduating from Nott Terrace High School, he enlisted and proudly served as a member of the United States Navy. Phil joined the Local Boilermaker’s Union once he returned home to settle down and start a family. Always a hard worker, he went on to own several businesses before opening The Scuttlebutt Restaurant in West Milton, NY. Eventually settling into retirement, Phil enjoyed spending his time at the Casinos playing poker or slots.
Phil was predeceased by his parents, as well as his beloved daughter Jean Foley and nephew Ricky Bonaquist. Phil is survived by his sisters Midge Bonaquist, Joan (Larry) Giammatei,, and Eileen (late Ed) Fazzone along with his son-in-law James Foley, and grandchildren Kristen Foley (Massimo), Dana(Ozan) Adiguzel, Zachary Foley, and Mason Foley along with four great grand-daughters as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his long time girlfriend, Ninfia “Chicky” Tama, and her family whom he cared for as his own.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial, on Thursday, November 10, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, followed by internment with full Mililtary Honors at Saratoga National Cemetery.
