Peter C. Hornby

Peter C. Hornby, 91 formerly of Governors Ln., passed away on January 24, 2018 at Baptist Nursing Center.  Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Preston and Caroline Hornby.  A graduate of Nott Terrace High School, he served honorably in the United States Navy (Seabees) during WWII from 1944-1946.

He was predeceased by his wife Nancy Hotchkiss Hornby, son, Samuel Hornby, and sister Dorothy Cappello.
Peter is survived by his son Peter Hornby of Maine.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 10-11 a.m. at the DeLegge Funeral Home, with a service to begin at 11 a.m.  Internment will follow in the Hornby family plot with Military Honors in Vale Cemetery.
