Norine (Hess) LaPierre-Sidney

Norine (Hess) LaPierre-Sidney 68, of Albany, NY formally, Middleburgh, NY passed away peacefully Friday morning December 15th at 10:37 am. Norine was born May 11, 1955 to Arlene Hess (Marcucci) & Andrew Hess in Albany NY.  In her early years, Norine met her former husband Winston LaPierre of Albany NY. They went on to have 4 children, Christopher, Benjamin, Briea & Brittney. Norine later married John Sidney a devoted member of her local church. They shared a home in Middleburgh until he passed in 2008. Norine will be most remembered for her faith in the lord who gave strength through hard times of grief from the passing of her two children Briea LaPierre (7) and Benjamin LaPierre(4 months) and her love for her family. She is survived by her two children Christopher LaPierre (Michele) and Brittney St.Pierre (Jason) and her brother, Andrew Hess Jr (76) (Ryan & AnneMarie) and her five Grandchildren (Asher, Charis, Lily, Hailey, Brielle).  For many years Norine worked at the Teresian House where she cared for the elderly which gave her great purpose. She later on furthered her education and received her certificate of phlebotomy. Norine made many friendships wherever she went. If you were Norines friend you were her friend for life. She always cared for everybody she knew & checked in on them even if years had passed by without seeing each other. In her last days she was surrounded by her children, & close friends. She will be truly missed and memories of her will be cherished forever.  

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday December 28th, 5-7pm at DeLegge Funeral Home 1346 Chrisler Ave Schenectady NY 12303.
