Michael A. Starr

Michael A. Starr, 78, passed away peacefully at home on November 14, after a long illness. Born in Albany, NY he was the son of the late Andrew and Berenice Rykowski Starr. He graduated from Christian Brothers Academy, attended Siena College, and was a Senior Computer Operator for NY State Dept. of Social Services.  

Mike was the husband of Geraldine (Gerry Zolad) for fifty-seven years. He is also survived by his devoted children, Dr. Laura Sagan (Tom), Gary (Tracy) Starr, Lisa (Gary) DeCarlo, Christopher (Tammy) Starr, and Michael P. Starr, grandchildren, Michael, Rebecca, Marissa, Jessica, Theresa, Ryan and Eric Starr, Sophia Sagan, Teia and Gary John DeCarlo, and brother Frank Starr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Adalbert.  A gathering will immediately follow at Church to reflect on Michael’s life.  Interment will be private.
