MaryLou Caringi Garry

It is with deep sadness the family mourns the loss of MaryLou Caringi Garry, 84, of Schenectady, NY, on Saturday, May 7, 2022, following a long illness. Mary Lou was born in Schenectady, NY, on July 18, 1937 to Louis and Mary Caringi.  MaryLou was a homemaker who was devoted to raising her six children.

 She was predeceased by her siblings Victor Carangi, Dorothy (Jimmy) Delguidace, Rose (Chic) Martell, Diane (Rocky) Addy, Marguerite (Andy) Martell.  She is survived by her children Kimberly Mercoglan (Kevin), Paul LaFond (Carrie), Donald Garry, Richard Garry (Mary), James McCreesh (Ava), Ryan McCreesh (Desiree), Grandchildren Megan (Justin), Jason (Lisa), Paul (Melanie), Donald, Michael, Josh, Brandon, Courtney, Rhianna, Angelina, Dominic, Ayden, Eric along with five Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Despite many medical challenges throughout the years MaryLou kept a positive attitude. Her faith and her will to live life and enjoy her family was her greatest attribute. 

At the request of MaryLou and her family, viewing hours will be private. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, May 11, at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2777 Albany St., at 11 a.m.  Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
