Louise Mancini Salmon, 101, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019. Born in Amsterdam, NY, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Marianne Mancini. She was a member of Mount Carmel Church.
Louise enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with friends and especially family. Her family was her life.
Louise was the wife of the late Thomas C. Salmon, mother of Joseph (Donna) Salmon, of Rotterdam, and the late Mary Ann and her surviving son-in-law Michael Leggiero, of Rotterdam, sister of, Joanne (Pasquale) Basilio, Delores (Robert) Caputo, Robert (Nancy) Mancini, the lates, Anthony, Adam, Herman, Michael, and Alfred, Mancini, grandmother of, Thomas (Penny) Salmon, Liza (Brian) Hart, Joelle (David) Dean, Holly (Jeremy) Riel, and Heather (Mark) Grossman, great-grandmother of, Grace, and Charlotte Salmon, Sarah and Benjamin Grossman, and Jonah Hart. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019, from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. at the DeLegge Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Interment will be in Sts. Cyril and Method Cemetery.
