Lillian Famiano Mozal Obituary


Lillian Famiano Mozal, 87, of Juracka Parkway, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021.  Born in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Christina Famiano.  A graduate of Mont Pleasant High School, she worked in the Accounting Department at the GE Company in Schenectady for thirty-seven years. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and the GE Quarter Century Club.  Aunt Lil was like a mother to us all, always there for her family and friends at any time.  She loved playing cards, bingo, and spending time with her family's fur baby, Lolah.  Aunt Lil showed love and was loved beyond words.  She touched the lives of many people and will be forever missed.

Beloved wife of the late Raymond Mozal, whom she married at Mount Carmel Church, sister to the lates, Anthony Famiano, Mary Piersante and Nora Santos.

Lillian is survived by nieces, and nephews, Frank Famiano, Linda (late Robert) Dickson, Christine Kudla Famiano, Carl Famiano, Nancy (Michael) Molloy, William (Pam) Santos, Karen Santos, Carol (Paul) Danner, Richard Mozal, and several grand-nieces and nephews.  Also survived by her loving caretaker Mary Ann Guerrera.  

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 30, from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the DeLegge Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m.  at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.  Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
