Kathryn passed away peacefully on December 28th with her family by her side at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center. She was 82, but young at heart with a wonderful sense of humor and a heart filled with so much love for her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Capuano; her father, Pasquale Nacco; her mother, Flora Nacco; and her brother, Patsy Nacco.
Kathryn is survived by her daughter Marijo Herndon (David), her son John Capuano (Melissa), two granddaughters, Casey Capuano, Taylor Capuano married to Craig Dwyer, and her great granddaughter, Logan Dwyer.
She worked in data entry for many years at Finserv Computer, and GE. Kathryn was also a faithful and life-long member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church and enjoyed being active in their senior group, women’s society, choir, and Eucharistic ministry team.
Her proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. She cherished her time with them, cooking big Italian dinners and having lively banter with all who sat at her table. Remembering her is like remembering love in action.
A private service will be held at a future date.
The family extends much gratitude to the Bellevue wing staff of Kingsway Arms for their dedicated and compassionate care.
