John Zebrowski

John passed away peacefully Sunday, July 29 2018, surrounded by family and friends. John resided in Mechanicville NY, with his beloved wife Paticia where he was an active member of the neighborhood and often referred to as "the mayor" by friends and neighbors. 
John was the son of the late John Zebrowski Sr. and Stefania Zebrowski. John is survived by his wife of 54 years Patricia Zebrowski; Children, John (Carol) Zebrowski of Niskayuna, and Vincent (Michele) Zebrowski of Ballston Spa; Grandchildren, Brittany, Tiffany (Adam), Zachary, and Stefania.

John graduated from Burnt Hills Ballston Lake HS, and received his BS in Economics from Siena College.
A veteran, John was part of the ROTC and the U.S Army, obtaining the rank of captain. He was a past commander of PNA and involved in the Holy Names Society. He was a devout Catholic and life long communicant of St. Adalbert's Church.
He was a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan and loved everything involving the sport of baseball. He Cherished all the time he spent with his grandchildren, as well as always attending their activities, while being their biggest supporter. He had the natural ability to communicate with anyone resulting in many lasting friendships.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 4, at 9:15 a.m. from the DeLegge Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Adalbert, 550 Lansing St, Schenectady. Interment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery with full military honors.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 3, from 5- 8 p.m. at the DeLegge Funeral Home.

The family would like to extend its deepest gratitude to the Ellis Hospital staff members.
In Lieu of flowers, John and his family have requested donations and contributions to be made to The American Diabetes Association and The American Lung Association.
