James Russell Reid III

James Russell Reid III (J.R.) passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.  J.R. was the son of James and Barbara Reid of Niskayuna, NY.  He graduated from Niskayuna High School, then went on to Virginia Tech graduating with two degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering.  He obtained a masters degree in Computer Engineering from George Mason, and a certificate in business from Lehigh.  He worked in Virginia as a contractor for the government and formed his own company, "Reid Integrated Technologies" (RIT).  

J.R. was the loving father of his twin children Aidan and Ava Reid.  He loved playing golf with his dad and was recently teaching his own son Aidan, the game of golf.  Nothing brought J.R. greater joy then spending time with his family and friends.  

J.R. is surivived by his twin children Aidan and Ava Reid of McLean, Va., his parents James and Barbara Reid of Niskayuna, sister, Heather Isabelle (Jason) and niece Madalyn, of Niskayuna, aunt Patricia Kalinowski of Guilderland, cousin Joseph T. Kalinowski, (Michelle) of Gloversville, and several cousins.  He was predeceased by his cousin Jeffrey D. Kalinowksi, and uncle Joseph S. Kalinowski.

 
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the DeLegge Funeral Home, 1346 Chrisler Ave., Schenectady, NY 12303. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery in Schenectady, NY.  
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 2, from 6-8 p.m. at the DeLegge Funeral Home.
