Henry Bennett Ciccone Jr., 46, passed away peacefully, on February 15, 2022 in the loving care and home of his Uncle Peter DiCocco.  

Henry was born in Schenectady, NY. The son of the late Paulette DiCocco and Henry B Ciccone Sr.  He was beautiful and curious. He was raised by families involved in food, creative work, and service to others. He made a life according to those passions and many benefitted from his efforts. Henry loved life. He loved music, art, dancing, concerts and festivals, cooking for friends, anything that would make others happy and feel special. He befriended everyone he met and was open and kind to a fault.

After graduating Conard High School Henry worked his way west. Finally living and working with his Aunt Pam and Uncle Joey, where Henry became a member of IATSE Local 728 Studio Electrical Lighting Technicians. He loved traveling the world working on many shows including “Crank Yankers”, “The Bachelor“, and “American Idol." Henry was also a gifted chef. He moved his growing family home to Saratoga NY and engaged in his great love of cooking and serving others and began a new career as a chef. He attained the prestigious AVPN Neopolitan Pizza Maker Certification and charmed dinner guests from Saratoga Springs to Albany NY.

The highlight of Henry's life was time spent with friends and family, and most of all, his children. Exploring Manhattan with Ava, making homemade pasta with Sonny, playing soccer with Elle, and fishing with Vivienne were his happiest, proudest, and most cherished moments.

He was predeceased by his mother, Paulette DiCocco Leonard.

Henry is survived by his children, Ava, Santino, and Elle Ciccone, and their mother, Lindsey Rininger, daughter, Vivienne Ciccone, and their mother Alysia Plaza, sister Llona and husband Mike Hogan, and his father Henry Ciccone Sr. and his wife Lynn. 

He is also survived by his Aunt Pamela and husband Joe Alvarado, Uncle Patrick DiCocco and Uncle Michael Conarroe, Uncle Peter DiCocco, his wonderful cousins Zachary Musler, Ali, Eshia, Joey, Ana and Gaby Alvarado, Candi and Paulie DiCocco , and Mary Ellen DiCocco, and his nephews Drew and Max Hogan. Henry was fortunate to be part of a loving extended family, that includes the names DiCocco, Vitch, Sackett, Cuomo, Maiello, Royer, Iovinella, Tessitore among others. Henry truly appreciated and loved his many friends and, to them all, great respect and love is wished.

He will always be in our hearts and souls.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, April 30, 2022, to be held at the Living Hope Christian Church, 978 Saratoga Rd., Ballston Lake, NY 12019. Times are 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM with a service at 2:00 PM.
