Helen M. Bialkowski, 94, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Baptist Nursing Home. She was born in Schenectady, NY on February 22, 1928 to the late Walter and Helen (Galka) Justin. Helen graduated from Nott Terrace High School and worked at the General Electric Company, soon after that leaving to marry Thaddeus (Ted) Bialkowski on May 3, 1947. Helen was very active at the Church of St. Adalbert and St. Adalbert School, volunteering as a homeroom mother, at bake sales, at the church rectory, bazars, and other church activities. She was also a member of the Altar Rosary Society.
She was predeceased by her husband Thaddeus (Ted) Bialkowski of forty-three years.
Helen is survived by her two children, Paul (Nancy) Bialkowski,of Bushkill, PA and Karen (James) Brice of Clifton Park, NY, three grandchildren, Edward (Tonya) Stern, of Glenville, NY, David Stern of Rotterdam, NY and Julie Bialkowski, of Staten Island, NY, five great-grandchildren, Britney Stern, Edward Stern, Jacob Stern, Caleb Stern, and Carissa Stern, two, step great grandchildren, Kendal Holland and Kyle Holland, two, step great-great-grandchildren, Cole and Abigail Panczner, sister, Mary Ann Rosin of Indianapolis, IN, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 13, at 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Adalbert. Interment will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's name to the Church of St. Adalbert, 550 Lansing St., Schenectady, NY 12303.
