Gail Czyzyk

Gail Czyżyk, 83, of Niskayuna, passed away peacefully at home, on March 12, 2026 with her loving family by her side.  Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the lates Parker and Lena Dillman.  Gail was a pharmacy technician for 47 years at Aumiller's Pharmacy.  She enjoyed spending time with the Wine Girls, Pat P., Pat F., Lynda B., Rosemary, Denice, Robin and Janet.
 

She was predeceased by her daughter, Tammy Schaffer, her former husband, Richard (Dick) Schaffer, grandson, Jonathan Czyzyk, brother, Bernard Dillman, and sisters Myrna Dillman and Joy Robb. 

Gail is survived by her husband Matthew Czyzyk whom she married on May 25, 1986.  Children, Scott (Lea) Schaffer, Karen (James) DeMidio, Matthew (Kim) Czyzyk.  Grandchildren, Nicholas (Beth) DeMidio, Danielle (Nick) Stewart, David Schaffer, Thomas (Jamie) Schaffer, Heather (Jake) Lengyel, Brooke (Marc) Zack, and Daniel and Cory Czyzyk.  Great-grandchildren, Lorenzo and Sophia DeMidio, Parker and Teddy Schaffer, and Atlas and Asher Zack.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 12-3 p.m. at the DeLegge Funeral Home.  Interment will be held at a later date.
