Elsie Harrington

Elsie Harrington passed away at the age of 110 years old on Sunday, March 14, 2021. She was born on February 4, 1911 in Schenectady, NY. She was the daughter of the late Emma and George Cleiss.

She was a graduate of Schenectady High School and lived in Schenectady but spent her summers at "The Farm" on Skyline Drive. She was a member of the Eagles for 50 years and a member and past President of the Rebekahs for over 50 years. 

 Elsie was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Myron, her sisters, Margaret C. Breitenstein, Dorothy A. Quante, and Mildred L. Westover, and brother, George C. Cleiss.  She is survived by her beloved children, Myron (Elizabeth) Harrington, Russell Harrington, James (Jean) Harrington, 9 grand children and 12 great grand children. 

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 19, from 11:30 to 1:00 for viewing at the DeLegge Funeral Home, with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m.  Interment to follow in Schenectady Memorial Park, Giffords Church Rd.
