Domenica Concetta (Minnie) Longo (VanDenburgh)
of the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes, NY.
Formerly of Schenectady, NY, 85 years old passed away of Alzheimer’s, on April 24, 2021.
Born on December 10, 1935, at home, Minnie was the daughter of the late Giuseppe B. De Pasquale and Catena C. Crimi De Pasquale. She was a 1953 graduate of Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady. She was a Telephone Operator for New York Tel on Franklin Street which eventually became AT&T from where she retired with 35 years of service. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and had many dear friends who continually ask about her, send her cards, and pray for her health. She loved to send cards for all occasions and to let people know she was thinking of them. She devoted herself to her family as family was of the utmost importance to her, therefore, family always came ahead of anything else.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her beloved daughter Jayne VanDenburgh in 2012, and her beloved brother Dominick (Donny) De Pasquale. She is survived by her daughters, Marie Farina, Diane VanDenburgh, Lynne VanDenburgh; two granddaughters Antoinette and Isabella Farina, a great-grandson Conor Tanner, sister Santa (Ernesto) DiCesare, brother Carmen (Martha) De Pasquale, and other family members.
Her wishes were to have private services. The family would like to thank ALL the friends of Minnie’s throughout her lifetime.
