Daniel “Danny” P. Baignosche, 47, passed away after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family on Monday, December 8, 2025.
Born in Niskayuna and raised in Schenectady, he was a Schenectady High School graduate and earned an Associates Degree from Schenectady County Community College.
Daniel worked for General Electric's R&D/General Electric Health Care facility for more than 25 years. There he had many connections with coworkers that became close friends.
He enjoyed gaming, camping, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He loved spending time with his daughter who was the light of his life. And anything Harry Potter. You could also find him out and about enjoying Stewart’s coffee or eating ice cream at Friendly’s, but his true passion was bowling--achieving his perfect game of 300 in 2024 and also belonging to the 800 club. He will be missed by his teammates where he bowled in leagues at Saratoga Strike Zone, Saratoga, NY and the tournament league at Towne and Country Lanes, Guilderland, NY.
He is survived by his daughter, Alexa Baignosche; mother and stepfather, Cheryl A. Baignosche and William Stone; brother and sister in-law, Kristopher and Tatiane Baignosche; sister and brother in-law, Maureen and Joe Bailey; stepbrothers, Vincent (Sabrina), Dominic (Jamie) and Tony (Nikki) Stone; nephew's, Logan, Colin, Jesse, Sean, Declan, Zackary, and Anthony; nieces, Kayleen, Bryanna, Shawna, Gianna, Noella, Hazel and Marianna. He is also survived by uncles, aunts and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, George O. Baignosche.
Danny will be greatly missed by family and friends, especially the many friends that he has had since childhood.
Calling hours will be at the DeLegge Funeral Home, 1346 Chrisler Ave, Schenectady, NY 12303, Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a brief service to follow.
