Cheryl Kaczmarek, 75, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Joan Nicole Prince Home in Scotia. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the lates Jane and Frank (Chal) DeLorenzo. She was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and the Royal Beauty School. She was a beautician at Bittersweet Salon on Broadway for many years. Cheryl loved life, she was always happy, and laughing, she was not afraid to say what was on her mind and always gave from her heart. She was one of the best hairstylists around, and will be missed by many.
She was predeceased by her husband David Kaczmarek.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Daveia Kaczmarek, sisters, Rachael DeLorenzo, and Janie DeLorenzo, brothers, Greg (Crystal) DeLorenzo, and Frank (Lynn) DeLorenzo. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, August 14, from 11a.m.-12 noon at St. John the Evangelist Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 12 noon. Entombment will be private for the family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Toni and Breanna, and the volunteers who took wonderful loving care of Cheryl in her final days of life.
