Barbara A. Pawlaczyk Daley

Barbara A. Pawlaczyk Daley, 75, of Plymouth Ave., formerly of DeGraff St., passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Ellis Rehab. Center.  Born on July 18, 1945 in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Cecelia (Juwa) Pawlaczyk.  She graduated from St. Mary's grammar school, where she met her husband Robert who lived only a block apart.  A graduate of Notre Dame High School, and her husband Robert, a graduate of Bishop Gibbons were both the very first graduating class of both schools.  She worked as an X-Ray technician for Gastro, and Orthopedic doctors and her last employment was with Newton Medical Group where she took care of all types of medical problems.  Barbara and Robert spent alot of time with their daughter Amanda in Lake Placid who was a figure skater and became a skating teacher.   

Barbara is the beloved wife of husband Robert H. Daley, whom she married on October 2, 1965, at St. Mary's Church, mother of the late Amanda Monson, and her surviving son-in-law Dan Monson, and their loving son, Austin Monson, sister of Paul Pawlaczyk of Pennsylvania, sister-in-law of Michele (Gary) Fox of Schenectady, and Eugene (Lori) Daley of Indiana, daughter-in-law of the late Agnes and Eugene Daley. cousin of Greg, Jeffery, Joan, and Ron Juwa, Wayne, Gary, and Marilyn Hedrick, (they were always at party's together), Laura, Linda, Karen, Paul and Marty Mack, and MaryEllen. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  All our family members will deeply miss Barbara.  She also had many friends who will mis her dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 3, from 5-7 p.m. at the DeLegge Funeral Home.  Interment will be private.
