Anna Filomena Mantova, 93, of Van Vranken Ave., Schenectady, passed away on January 14, 2023. Born in Broccostella, Italy, she was the daughter of the lates Antonio and Giuseppa Mantova. In the dictionary, there are no words to describe how special she was. Her hands made bread, she gave life to flowers, and helped raise her family's children. Anna was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Anna was the loving sister of Gina and Francesco Mantova, and several late brothers and one late sister. She is also survived by a niece Damaris (Michael) Laurange, several other nieces and nephews, and a great-nephew, Joseph Laurange.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the DeLegge Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 1:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Church. Entombment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
