Angelina E. Briggs

Angelina E. Briggs 89 of Glenville NY passed away peacefully at home January 23, 2026 surrounded by her children.

Born in Brooklyn NY she was the daughter of Rose Lopinto and Joseph DiPeri. Angelina is predeceased by her first husband Dimitrius Tsakanikas and second husband Roy Briggs, and her daughter Dimitria Tsakanikas. She is also predeceased by her siblings Leo, Joe, Jim DiPeri and Rose Marie Connormon. She graduated from Kingston HS. She was employed by NYS Taxation and Finance for 35 years retiring in 2015. Her family was her life.

She is survived by her children Elaine Brush (Thom), Angela Tsakanikas, John Tsakanikas and Anne Marie Tsakankias, her sister Geraldine Piscitelli, Grandchildren Jason, Stephen(Jess) and Nicholas Cole, Ashley and Brittany Sutherland, Katie Hines and John Tsakanikas Jr. Also survived by her great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 from 5-7 p.m. at the DeLegge Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
