Donald Koons Obituary

On Monday, August 6, 2018, Donald "Sonny" Koons passed away suddenly. Donald is predeceased by his mother and father, William and Bessie Koons as well as his eldest son, Donald Koons Jr.

Donald is survived by his wife, Sally Koons, son, Allen Koons, daughters, Missy (Chris) Stevens, and Amy (Steven) Neach, ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sisters, Suzie Koons, and Donna Hershfeild, several nieces and nephews as well as many friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at the Duanesburg-Florida Methodist Baptist Church 7967 NY Rt. 30, Delanson, NY. A reception will follow at the Burtonville Volunteer Fire Dept. Memorial contributions may be sent to 2043 Burtonville Rd, Esperance, NY 12066 in Care of Sally Koons.
